A parked domain name is one that is taken, but it's not connected to some other service - web or e mail hosting. Put simply, this type of domain name won't load any real content in case you type it inside a browser, but no one else can take it as you've already registered it and you are its owner. The advantage of acquiring a domain name and parking it afterwards is the fact that you will be able to keep it and not worry that somebody else might register it in the meantime if, for example, the site for it is not ready yet. You can set a temporary Under Construction webpage for a parked domain name while you're working on the web site, or direct it to some other web address - temporarily or permanently. The latter option can be used if you have already registered domain.com, for instance, and you obtain domain.net and domain.org, in order to protect a brand name or a trademark. In this case, the .net and .org domains can be parked and directed to the .com since you do not need different websites for them.

Parked Domains in Shared Web Hosting

You'll be able to park as many domains as you wish with each of the shared web hosting plans which we offer. Of course, this feature is provided only for domains registered with us because the service is always provided only by the registrar. As opposed to the majority of service providers, we don't charge anything more for parking a domain and the process takes just a couple of mouse clicks in your Hepsia CP. We have a number of parking templates to select from where you can include custom text. If you want to host a parked domain address in the future, adding it to your account requires simply a mouse click. Everything needed for the site to start showing up, including creating a domain folder and creating DNS records will be done automatically by our system. The feature-rich Domain Manager tool will allow you to see a full list of the domain addresses you have registered through our company and you will be able to set a filter to view only the parked or just the hosted ones.

Parked Domains in Semi-dedicated Hosting

With each and every semi-dedicated server that we offer you will have the freedom to park as many domain addresses that are registered through us as you want. Since only the registrar company can offer a parking option, you can't park domain addresses which are only hosted on our state-of-the-art cloud hosting platform. Using the Domain Manager section of your Hepsia hosting Control Panel you are going to be able to park and un-park domains with as little as a couple of clicks and filter all domains that you have got by their status, for better management. We provide a number of templates you can use and if you prefer, you may also add some custom text to any of them. If you choose to un-park a domain and host it within your account, you'll not need to do anything manually - our system is going to create a domain folder in the File Manager section and will create all the required DNS records so that your domain works properly and starts opening the content that you upload for it on our servers.
